Cooking For A Cause
Join us for an evening featuring a live competition with local Chef & Celebrity teams, Professional Judging & Awards, restaurant tasting stations and more!
During the event, three teams of paired local chefs and celebrities will have 30 minutes each to prepare and plate a gourmet dish using a provided main protein. At the close of the evening, awards will be presented for the live competition and the restaurant tasting stations.
The goal of Cooking for a Cause is to provide a fundraising opportunity for local non-profits who need a boost to raise public awareness of their mission. In addition, the first-place chef and celebrity team can designate a charity of their choice to receive a portion of the proceeds raised. Chef and Celebrity teams will rotate annually to provide opportunities to those who may wish to participate.
All Event attendees will be entered to win one of the three prizes:
- Two Cabana Tickets for Dicks Sporting Goods Open PGA Champion’s Tour for Friday, July 11 (concert) or Sunday, July 13 (final round). The cabana is located between the 9th and 18th holes at Enjoie Golf Club. The cabana includes food (lunch and snacks served during the afternoon as well as bar service) and a parking pass. (Estimated value of $1,650 for Friday and $1,500 for Sunday.)
- One foursome for the 11th Annual ACS Golf Tournament – Fore the Love of Pets to be held at Endwell Greens on Friday, September 19, 2025. (value is $500).
- Two tickets to the STIR Guest Chef Dinner to be held on a Sunday in November at the DoubleTree in Downtown Binghamton. (value is $350).
Each ticket purchased to the event includes:
- Entry into the event
- Beer, Wine & Signature Cocktails
- Cash bar available
- Tastings at all restaurant stations
